Flooding
As the school will be located on the bank of the River Avon, the issue of flood risk has been addressed throughout the design process. By adopting appropriate measures including repairing and refurbishing the river wall and creating new flood storage, the overall risk of flooding will be reduced and the school building itself will be clear of flood risk. The construction of a high quality bridge will provide a landmark for the City of Bath and provide safe access to and from the site.
