The Building
The Dyson School is planned to be built on the South Quays site in Bath. The site is well located for the School’s links with local industry, as well as for transport connections for students travelling from Bath and North East Somerset schools and from further afield. Its situation in central Bath also means that the local community can benefit from an exhibition space and auditorium, and learn more about engineering.
The application was considered by the Bath and North East Somerset Development Control Committee on Wednesday 19th March 2008 which was minded to approve the application. The application will now go to the Government Office of the South West for approval. It is hoped that a final decision to grant planning permission will be made as quickly as possible so as to avoid further delays.
